Research interests

Among the research interests of the members of the Department of Mathematics we can mention algebraic and differential geometry with applications to physics and coding theory, complex analysis, functional analysis and partial derivative equations.

INTEGRAL TRANSFORMS IN GEOMETRY AND PHYSICS

  • Responsible researcher: Daniel Hernández Ruipérez.

    • Mirror symmetry, D-branes, derived categories and Fourier-Mukai transforms.
    • Relative Fourier-Mukai transforms, duality between heterotic string and F-theory.
    • Derived categories and birrational geometry.
    • Geometric integral transforms of triple structures.
    • Fourier-Mukai transforms and adiabatic transport for particles of spin 1/2.

ALGEBRAIC AND ARITHMETIC GEOMETRY, AND CODING THEORY
